Smash is Baby!

Happy Birthday  to Aleria, who made it through one long year of life! A major milestone, why not smash a cake? Who hasn't wanted to just mash all that thick fluffy icing on top of a cake before! I think it could be a lot of fun actually! Apparently we thought it would be more fun than she did, as it took her awhile to really get into it, but she did some damage!!

May life be full of sweetness.

These little girls were AMAZING! Not a word of complaint, doing exactly what I said in -13 degree weather!  I LOVE them for this because the results are fantastic! Such color and the most beautiful little faces! How can you not fall in love? Or just smile?  May your New year be filled with at least a little bit of this sweetness and perfection!

JOY! JOY! JOY! ...and a little energy!!

Sometimes you can't contain your joy! Sophia was one of those happy little girls with so much joy and energy, that I was a little concerned I would not be able to capture it all in a small frame. But... I think we managed to catch many of her happy faces and bottle a little of the energy into some pictures that will hopefully spread the love and joy this little girl has! I Also had a moment to capture her sweet sister and beautiful Mother.  Once again the pleasure was all mine! 

Frosty and Bright

I hope no one suffered frostbite after this family faced a  crisp -25  to get just the right shot! I do wish it had been slightly warmer to get a few more, but considering the weather, I think we did pretty good! One more try a week later was a little bit warmer but still left us very chilled after an hour outdoors! Which explains why there are so many of one couple! Thanks to Kyle we warmed up in his truck and lasted a full session outdoors!

Thank you for being brave enough to face the chilly temps this Christmas! I hope that these pictures capture your family just the way you wanted and hold great memories for you for a lifetime. I look forward to working with you again. I enjoyed my time with you!
